Abstract Description: Idaho Power performed a full conversion from SNOET/TDM to IP/MPLS from 2013-2015. This session will cover the basics of how Idaho Power planned, designed, built, and then ran a full IP/MPLS converted system for 10 years. This conversion included relaying and RAS circuits too. The experience and lessons learned from running and living for 10 years with a full IP/MPLS conversion will also be covered.
