Mr. Nichols is Executive Director of the Project 25 Technology Interest Group (PTIG). He has led the organization for the 11 years. PTIG is a not for profit organization dedicated to the promotion and application of the P25 digital radio Standard. Previously he had been with Thales for 16 years as a Business Development Director. He has more than 40 years of experience in the Land Mobile and Public Safety Radio Industries. Mr. Nichols is a member of APCO, IACP, IAFC, NPSTC, Radio Club of America. He is a fellow of the Radio Club and recipient of the Radio Club’s Edgar F. Johnson Pioneer Citation.
