Jan Forslow is Itron’s Solutions Architect for its cellular solutions, encompasses millions of electric, water and gas meter deployments as well as a large fleet of streetlight network controllers. Jan has a degree in Electrical Engineering and Communications and a more recent Master of Data Science degree from UC Berkeley. Jan has 12 approved patents and has been a delegate for Itron in 3GPP, UBBA and Wi-SUN. Current focus is on how to leverage Cellular Networks with AI-infused SmartGrid use cases.
