Shane Austin is currently responsible for leading the Radio Access Network (RAN) Engineering Team. RAN Engineering is responsible for the design, performance, spectrum management, and site acquisition for the new Southern Company LTE network. He has led the design for over 1330 LTE sites and has been part of the construction and validation of all those sites. Shane also represents Southern Linc at the 3GPP Standardization meetings.
