Ryan Liddle

Ryan Liddle is the Director of Telecommunications at Hawaiian Electric, where he leads the Telecom Division in building and maintaining communication infrastructure across Hawaii’s islands. With over a decade at Hawaiian Electric, Ryan started as a Telecom Engineer, giving him hands-on experience with the technical challenges of supporting the company’s IT, OT, and grid modernization efforts.

In recent years, Ryan’s team has focused on expanding and modernizing the company’s telecom systems. Now, the priority is on strengthening and optimizing these systems to improve efficiency, security, and reliability.

Ryan graduated from the University of Hawaii and values a practical, collaborative approach. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, playing tennis and golf, and exploring new technologies.
