Cordell Briggs is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with over fifteen years of specialized experience safeguarding critical infrastructure in the North American electric sector. As the Senior Coordinator of the E-ISAC Intelligence Group, Cordell played a pivotal role in fostering robust operational coordination between the E-ISAC and its strategic partners across private industry and governmental agencies. He excelled as the Electricity Liaison to the Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), where he ensured continuous collaboration and communication on national security issues.

In his capacity, Cordell has been instrumental in representing the interests of the critical infrastructure energy sector and its electricity subsector members. He actively engaged with industry, cross-sector, and government partners to address cyber and physical threats pertinent to the electricity subsector. Through his efforts, Cordell has successfully developed and executed innovative programs that facilitate the exchange of critical cyber and physical security information. His initiatives have significantly enhanced situational awareness and strengthened security postures across multiple sectors.

Cordell is recognized as a proactive and visionary leader in Information Technology, with deep expertise in both physical and cybersecurity within the electric industry. His background includes significant roles in program operations, cybersecurity strategy, and the orchestration of comprehensive cyber exercises. As a collaborative leader, Cordell is adept at driving cross-functional teams and has a proven track record in staff development, strategic partnership building, and effective resource allocation. His proactive approach and ability to generate a sense of urgency have been critical in mobilizing resources and rallying stakeholders toward shared security goals.
